Sun's design is based on the world's best-selling 10.6 all-round all-purpose board model, including all brands, with its rounded shape and wide bow. The wide bow makes the board very stable even for beginners and makes it easy to carry larger children or dogs. The rounded shape makes the board easy to manoeuvre, even for a small person. The design of the board's base (rocker) and fin are designed to make it more suitable for touring than other brands. In Vesiurheilu.fi's tests, the board was easy to get a good glide with a carbon fibre paddle, making it directional stability was amazingly good despite the rounded shape. The board's sturdy but lightweight construction works for paddlers up to 140kg.

Thanks to the most durable Fusion PVC material on the market the board performs superbly at pressures as low as 15psi, which is easy to pump into the board. If you demand the best possible performance then the board can be pumped up to 25psi at which point the body stiffness approaches that of a hard-bodied board.
