Air-filled Mistral Sunburst Air 11.0 windsup (335 x 79 x 15cm / 11.0 x 31" x 5,9", 228L) is a complete and beginner-friendly package for learning windsurfing and standard windsurfing with everything you need, including a pitch with a 3m2 sail. Mistral's top quality windsup is also suitable for wingsuiting and learning to wingfoil if you have a wing sail. (a winged sail held over the head by the hands) or are thinking of getting one. The Sunburst 11.0 is a quality board with a tail kicktail that packs into a small space and lets you play three different sports! Watch the video below to see the possibilities of the three sports. The 11.0 is a notch faster than its smaller sister board, the 10.5, due to its slightly narrower and longer body.
Mistral-designed 8-inch extra fins on the side, in addition to the standard US finbox-mounted fin, make the windsup superior to windsurfing on standard SUP boards, as the fins prevent the board from collapsing upwind. The board has an 8mm twist which allows for the attachment of the rickshaw needed for windsurfing.
The 3m2 sail is made of transparent monofilm material and is lightweight and easy to handle, making windsurfing easy to learn. The transparency provides safety and makes surfing easier thanks to the wide visibility. The sail, boom, mast and stand are quick and easy to assemble without tools.
Superstars are thought of with a high quality three-piece adjustable paddle, made of a carbon fibre/glass fibre (30/70%) combination which makes paddling faster and more comfortable. The paddle has an abrasion resistant polycarbonate paddle which is shaped to give maximum grip on the water.
The whole package (excluding sail and mast) fits into a 48 x 100 x 23 cm bag with all-round adjustable drawstrings, snap fasteners, padded shoulder straps, hip belt, inside pocket and two-way zipper with wide opening for easy packing of board and accessories. Rik has its own handy carrying bag where all the parts go with it and the boom acts as a handy carrying handle.
